CLI reference
ase CLI reference
The ASE Brain CLI. Cloud operations need ase login or a release credential in CI. Website planning and generation run locally without credentials.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
ase editor |
Prepare this project's SDK, then launch its editor. |
ase engine |
Install a verified engine tooling package from a local release artifact. |
ase fleet |
Dedicated servers: their performance, and the local provider. |
ase games |
Work with the Game Registry. |
ase integrate |
Store and service integrations. |
ase login |
Sign in to your studio on ASE Brain with a code you approve in the studio console. |
ase logout |
Sign out of ASE Brain. |
ase net |
Online play for a game, in its repo. |
ase new-game |
Create a game: its registry entry in your studio and its files from the template. With an idea, a coding agent then builds it. In a terminal it asks what flags leave open; run by an agent or in CI it asks nothing. |
ase perf |
A game's own performance events: daily numbers, or cuts by version, platform or device. |
ase record |
Record a scene's or script's capture takes through its selected engine package. |
ase release |
A game's release, step by step (the game's own CI workflows run these). |
ase sdk |
The selected engine SDK: develop it here, or install and update it in a game. |
ase self-update |
Update now instead of waiting for the hourly automatic check. |
ase skill |
The ase skill for Claude and Codex, so they can make games with ase and ask ASE Brain about the studio's games. |
ase skins |
Your studio's own skins: start one from Corpo, check it, create it, upload versions of it, try them on in the studio console and publish one for everyone in the studio. |
ase studio |
Your studio on ASE Brain: who may release its games, release keys, secrets. |
ase sync |
Bring Brain's files in a game's repo up to date: workflows, instructions and the engine SDK. |
ase website |
Static websites and their anonymous request totals. |
Every command also takes:
| Argument | Description |
|---|---|
--root <ROOT> |
The ase-brain checkout to work on; found from the current directory by default. Also read from ASE_ROOT. |
